Dublin City University has been named the best young university in Ireland following the publication of the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024. Dublin City University ranked 59th in the world, the best young university in Ireland, an improvement of 89th in 2023.

The Young University Rankings evaluate universities globally under 50 years old, distinguishing them from many of the world's top-ranked institutions that boast centuries of history and tradition. These rankings assess universities across five key areas: teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income.
